You probably have explored Abyssal Ruins at Undella Bay, and something happened when you reached the end

    Spoiler:

I can't seem to find a thread on this, so what do you think is that dull sound?
    I was seriously curious :S

EDIT : Oops just knew from Bulbapedia, you need to use moves to move on, anyways, still, what's the dull sound?

    Meaby Pokémon

This may be stupid answer but I think that it is Water-Pokémon. :O

By the way, adding to the mystery, there could be a mystery Pokemon that Gamefreak haven't revealed to the public, right after Genesect. Gamefreak is always mysterious >.>".
(Excluding Pokemon Designs and Pokemon Game Names :) Hah I'm Evil)

Maybe it could be a brand new pokemon. And if it is it could be the 3rd games mascot. And i know ill get the " NO YOUR WRONG CAUSE THEY NEVER RELEASED A BRAND NEW POKEMON BEFORE IN THE MIDDLE OF A GENERATION'" But I am positive that no one would mind( to the point of not buying the third game)

well as of the torrent and stuff probably wat MrGriszell said. Also the writing in there is a story i dont remember wat exactly was written but im pretty sure it was like some type of code about Kyurem, Reshiram, Zekrom, and N i beleive

I never got that far in, so I wouldn't know, but I think it is water currents.

It's just when you walk for too far at all, not when you reach the last floor.

But yeah, I honestly just think it's currents and pressure differences, and the ruins settling on the floor of the ocean. No real reason to think that it's anything more than a device to make it a tad harder to finish the ruins.

I think that the dull sound that will eventually force you out of the Abyssal Ruins is from a Pokemon that's claimed the ruins as its territory (but we don't know what it is).

I got really creeped out at the " "ed part o_o anyways, as far as I know, they haven't did that, and if they did so, it would be amazing ^_^. It could be a 4th "member" of the trio (if there is a forth one, IF JUST IF, it would be a Quadruplet. Who knows :/

the first time that happened i thought it must have been some kind of water pokemon. i still think it is. it would be really cool if they added it to the third game but it would never happen

I have no idea what it is but I think it's like a trap when water flushes you out and did you notice that there's a time limit. I don't think it would be water pokemon because if you run around wouldn't you encounter pokemon?
