It has been long debated whether a Pokemon is suitable mainly for physical or special attacks.

One of my personal favorite Pokemon to experiment this trick is Medicham, considering that all its stats are equal and it can learn both Bulk Up and Calm Mind.

    The Physical Medicham

    Medicham@Leftovers
    Nature: Adamant
    EVs: 187 Atk/111 Def/132 Sp. Def./153 Spd
    -Return
    -Bulk Up
    -Hi Jump Kick
    -Shadow Ball

    A Special Sweeper

    Medicham@Leftovers
    Nature: Modest
    EVs: 109 Def/202 Sp. Atk/101 Sp. Def/143 Spd
    -Fire/Ice/Thunderpunch
    -Calm Mind
    -Fire/Ice/Thunderpunch
    -Psychic

Post some other Pokemon that you would put either an Adamant or Modest nature on and why.

Medicham works best with physical attacks since it has Huge Power. Special Cham doesn't pack the punch needed to take anything out, and it's fairly frail so it can't survive many hits. Slower than a lot of things too, before Salac.

Why would you give Medicham Return? More like Rock Slide or at least Fake Out. Your EVs are very wierd as well.

Yes, you really need to learn more about standard movesets before beginning a topic like this. Virtually no one would ever use a special-attacking Medicham because there are so many better choices. And who in the world would pass on that sexy Pure Power trait which double's Medicham's Attack to 480?

    The standard Medicham sets are:

    Medicham @Choice Band
    EVs: 4 HP/ 252 Atk/ 252 Spd
    Nature: Adamant (+Atk, -SAtk)
    Hi Jump Kick
    Shadow Ball
    Rock Slide
    Fake Out

    Or

    Medicham @Salac Berry
    EVs: 82 HP / 252 Atk / 176 Spd
    Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
    Reversal
    Endure/Substitute
    Shadow Ball
    Focus Punch/Rock Slide
