[Other] add new map folder using advance map

    Is there a way to add new folder and place new maps in fire red, instead of adding new pallet town map when using "advance map" tool. or if not are there any other tool that can edit or add new folder for maps in fire red?

    i find things in youtube on how to add map, but all of them are in pallet town. I would like to add (example) new bark town folder, containing new bark town maps. when using advance map they all are inputted as pallet town an are in pallet town folder.

    Please help.

    Also, any idea if there are limits on the number of maps that can be created?
     
    Thats so easy just when creatinga a all new map in the "Create New Map" and when every things is done in your new map you can choose the "Insert Map" Option beside the New map option and there in the below of the pop-upped window you can see the "Create New space" there you have to scroll down to the "New Bank" Then click "Create and insert" and after this you would get your new folder of the map and if you want to add more maps in this new folder just click The number of that folder you make in the same "Create New space" option but this time the number of that new folder and all done.

    The problem is, it is still pallet town. I chose bank 43. I get PALLET TOWN (43.0) inside the PALLET TOWN Folder. I'm expecting NEW BARK TOWN (43.0) where NEW BARK TOWN folder is created. any ideas how?

    sorry but you are really a newbie. That will happen as if you dont change the name of the place it will remain as pallate town but except it in the amap I cant help you with the names as you will face future prob with those names with pokemon maps but I am wishing that you will learn it in no time

    I want to retain the pallet town too and have newbark town too. I know it is posible to replace the town name (from pallet to new bark town). I want to add new bark town instead of replacing pallet town.

    As there is no New Bark Town in the FR or LG you want to add a new, no? But you cannot add a new name for it. You just need to change any map's name in the header tab.

    yes i agree with you on that. But i've seen hacks like liquid crystal and adventure red chapter having new named maps i wonder how i can do that too. :(

    I think they use asm and hex and I dont know HEX and ASM thats all, you can ask diegoawsome to teach you, no shy
