[Question] Adding new abilities/moves to the Gen 4 games?

    Hello everyone,
    I have recently gotten back into Pokémon rom hacking and decided to try my hand at it with the Gen 4 games. While looking around I wondered if it is possible to add new abilities or moves from Gen 5 into those games, as a way to spice things up a bit. So I ask, has any progress been made on this front?
    For clarity's sake, I know that some people had success in replacing moves with other moves, but what I am referring to here is different - I am talking about adding in a completely new ability.
