Adding New Items and Trainers to Gen4

    I would like to know what I need to edit or change so that I can add additional trainer files and item files to Platinum. I know how to create new NPCs and give them trainer status, but I don't know how to add another trainer file to the roster. The same for items. I now how to spawn them on the map, but not how to get new item info into the ROM. What am I doing wrong?
