Adding RMXP into the game?

My mapper made me a new map and when I asked him for the map to put into my game, he sent me a single file called Map003. He told me to put the file into the Data folder of Pokemon Essentials and then the map would show up in the Game Editing but I can't seem to find it. If anyone can give me a quick guide to import this into RMXP, it would be greatly appreciated.

Maybe because you already have map 3 since games have like 20 maps there will already be a map three the third map in the game editing place

what i would do, is ask for the 'MapInfos' ifle, start a new project and copt the map003 and mapinfos. then cust copy itover layer by layer into the game your making.

i've tried it myself, and although its pain'stakingly boring, its the most effective method.

To put it in your project, just check your last map (lets guess the map 22) then rename this map to map 023 and put it into your data folder (where you can see other map files)

well the mapper *cough* *cough* used a new pokestarter file so yeah i dunno it worked with JJMac though :\

it should work but if it dosnt try updating poke essentials
