Advance text not displaying dialogue properly

So today I started playing around with Advance Text and I noticed that in a lot of cases the dialogue wasn't displaying correctly.
By that I mean that a few words are amiss, some are incomplete and some sentences don't even make sense to be where they are!

I have been using Pokemon Fire Red (US) v1.1

For instance:

This is supposedly in Professor Oak's introduction. However, the other pages that appear before are nowhere to be found. Oak also doesn't say that. There's also words missing there.


Oak is supposed to say "Hello there! Glad to meet you" before what is displayed here.

My question: where is the rest of those sentences? I know they must be somewhere because this is not only an unaltered copy of the rom but the messages are also displayed properly when I load the game in Visual Boy.

There's more examples in almost all of the rom's dialogues and I want to be assured that there's not going to be any errors when I alter them.

All your troubles could have been avoided if you stopped right before the"I started playing around with Advance Text" part.

It's a bad tool. Use Advance Map and XSE or HexManiac to edit text, is my advice
