Advance Wars: Days of Ruin/Dark Conflict and Advance Wars Dual Strike

    Post everything about these two advance wars versions here! Screenshots, hacks, unit statistics and etc.!!!

    I am yet to get DoR, but i've just completed dual strike's hard campaign with an S rank which im pretty chuffed with. Would anyone fill me in on he key differences please? Namely, have they balanced out the megatank yet?
     
    I have Dark Conflict, and I think it's amazing. Much better than Dual Strike.
     
    Dark Conflict story is very complex and relatively good for the game play, the megatank is still way to powerful like in DS, i mean i gots one mega and its most likely i will 100% kill most units before they even reach me and the megatank is sorta slow if you know what i mean...

    But its really worth it hehe. And also i finished Dual Strike on hard with an S and was very lazy to go back and get an S again D: Tough i bet anyone would beat me over wifi battles hehe...

    Well, the Megatank has bad mobility, it's expensive, and only really appears as a 'trump card', until later levels.

    I personally prefer the Heavy Tank, since it's cheaper and has better mobility.

    the Mega tank also gets REALLY owned by airstrikes and anti-tanks.
     
    Megatanks really arent as expensive if you have hachi with all the money skills available, -23% makes it cheaper than the conventional neotank. thats my usual strategy :)
    Not sure how it works on DoR

    LOL! Me too. I always get a S rank in Normal/Hard in DS and DoR. I always love strategy games!
     
    I have both and I continue to play both, but I'm not that good to S rank the whole thing. Most stages I S but stages like the First Black Obilisk IS HARD! And on hard it's just plane nasty. Other than that I love Days of Ruin. And you are right about one thing the MegaTank on Duel Strike IS over powered. >_<

    Yeah. They've balanced the Mega Tank now in AW: Days of Ruin. Somehow that First Black Obelisk just easy, but lol I forgot it. I stopped AW: DS then moved on to AW: DoR.
