I've tried all the videos out there to get this tool to work, and (eventually) I managed to get it to extract where I want and I got the files everyone says you need to run it.

But when I double click it (I'm on Windows 8) it gives me a purple strip across my screen saying "This app can't run on your PC To find a version for your PC, check with the software publisher"

    Any help?

Put the program in legacy mode (preferably Windows 7 or XP)

Yeah, here's some help: don't bother.

A-Text isn't a program that should be used by beginners. Unless you know how to repoint stuff and you're only using A-Text for a simpler means of finding offsets for the text, then there is no point in using it. If you are using it to customize your intro text, just look up the offsets somewhere on the interwebz and repoint the texts to your new scripts.

    tl;dr dont use atext
