    Hi everyone,
I'm trying to make a rom hack, but I'm having a few problems:

    1)
HackRomTools - AdvanceTrainer won't load any rom, there's an error, I tried many roms and it's the same:
    "Subscript out of range"
    "DrawTile8@modLZ77"
    here's a screenshot:

    2)
In OverworldEditorRE Iwanna export and then edit (paint) a char sprite, but as soon as I wanna import the new file, this happens:
the colors are weird, here's a screenshot:

I'd appreciate if someone knows how to solve this, thanx :)

1)Don't use Advance trainer use hopeless trainer editor.

    2) You got to make sure you got the right palettes. Either import the pallete or make sure your colors match the colors of a palette already in the game. (I'm sure someone else can explain it a bit better).

    thx for ur reply.
the trainer worked. bout the palette I'm getting the idea, but it doesn't effect the problem: I'm gonna export an image, then import it again without changing anything, and the same strange colors bug appears again. maybe there's a better program?

For overworlds, I use NSE 1.7.5(2.0 isn't specifically for overworlds).

    Maybe that'll help.
