Steelix makes up more than enough in the pysical departement.

Not if Gyarados uses DD a couple times and uses aqua tail. although pinsir could keep him at bay perhaps

First off, with a few DD's, a Pinser damn sure can't stop Gya.

well no, but electivire aides taking out Gya as well...

EDIT: I dont remember, is Electivire run on adamant or jolly with thunder punch moveset (as in, not T-bolt).

with a couple DD's not much will stop Gyarados. and a Steelix should be able to Stone Edge a Gyarados to death before it gets enough DD strength.

Yes I've done the math a while ago, steelix can survive a 2 DD'd aqua tail
