Hey guys! I was looking through some attacks to possibly put on some of my pokemon. I came across Agility that I was considering for my Empoleon. I liked Agility because it would raise Empoleon's speed 2 Stages. How much speed would be increased by "2 Stages"; what is 2 Stages? Like is 1 Stage 25% and 2 Stages are 50%? Can someone help me?

This belongs to Strategies & Movesets, so I'll just move it there for you.

    Moved~

Don't read so much into it. You can increase each stat by 6 stages. So, you can use agility 3 times. I don't know whether or not these are 25% or what, but I wouldn't worry much.

Just think of it this way. It increases your speed by a lot. But it depends on your speed in the first place. Like, if it was a Shuckle(which I know can't learn Agility, this is hypothetical), whose speed is incredibly low to begin with, then even after putting the speed up 2 stages, it will still be pretty slow compared to some Pokemon. There. Did that help?

Wooty is right. Don't worry too much, but pay attention to their indivisual stat.

This is the forumla for Stat rises and how much it multilpies the original stat by.

    0 Stages = no rise
    1 Stage = 1.5x rise
    2 Stages = 2x rise
    3 Stages = 2.5x rise
    4 Stages = 3x rise
    5 Stages = 3.5x rise
    6 Stages = 4x rise

    6 Stages is the maximum.

Thanks guys for the response. Thanks Iceman3k for the chart! You guys really helped.
