So Platinums a big hit and all the people who didnt reserve it or buy it on the day (like me) are going to have to wait. I say if you wanna get it at a good price we would have to wait a couple of months. (its not alot of cash but hey economy???) And it will take a while to restock on the game =/ so lets wait.

But I want a comment to see if you agree or disagree with me...

P.S- Also say if your gonna get it or not =D

If you want the game, there's really no point in waiting. first of all, major stores like target/walmart get shipments weekly. second of all, video games dont decrease in price very quickly. You would have to wait at least 6-8 months, and even then, the game would only be $5 cheaper

Pokémon has never really been a game that deceases in price quickly, thus you are going to be waiting for some time. And like BrainDamage said, major stores restock weekly.

You act like it's a super rare item or something...If worst comes to worst one could just order it online.

Handheld games generally take a very long time to go down in price, mainly because they're pretty inexpensive in the first place ($20-$40), so I doubt pokemon will ever go down, and if it does it'll probably just go down five dollars - which will take forever.

So, yeah, there's not much point waiting. : / Handheld games aren't like that when compared to console games, unfortunately.

I don't see why someone would pre-order this item, unless it was online, or you live in a really small town. I live in Orlando, which is average-sized, and there's plenty of chances of getting the game at the various Walmart's, Best Buy's Gamestop's, Target's, etc. And like said before, those stores restock quickly. /shrug

Pokemon games hold their value very well, especially the newest releases. You may see a small price drop in a few months, but if you want to get it for under 30 dollars you will have to wait a bit. You could always watch game stop/babbages/eb games and see if you can find any used games, but even then the price difference will not be much. If you have the money and you want the game, I suggest just buying it when you see it. That's my take on the issue.

There isn't anything wrong with waiting until you've saved up the $35 to get the game, but like everyone has said, it's going to remain $35 for quite a while. You could try getting one used at a lower price, but used Platinums won't show up for a few months either, since the game is still really new.

    There's always patience.

By the time one can save $35, there would probably be a re-stock at his/her local Wal-Mart.

This question seems kind of silly. Generally games take a long time in price to go down and it's not like Platinum's very expensive anyway.
