Alakazam or Gengar?

    now this is for my OU team... my other special sweeper is

    Yanmega @ Leftovers/Wide Lens
    Modest
    252 SAtk/176 Spd/80 Hp
    -Protect
    -Bug Buzz
    -Air Slash
    -Hp Ice/Shadow Ball/Hypnosis

    lead. wide lens is for hypnosis. need small help there.

    the common alakazam is

    Alakazam @ Wise Glasses/Wide Lens (helps focus blast)
    Modest/Timid
    252 SAtk/252 Spd/4 Hp
    -Calm Mind
    -Psychic
    -Focus Blast
    -Shadow Ball/Energy Ball

    and Gengar

    Gengar @ Wise Glasses/Wide Lens (helps FB and hypnosis)
    Modest/Timid
    252 SAtk/252 Spd/4 Hp
    -Hypnosis
    -Thunderbolt
    -Shadow Ball
    -Focus Blast

    i cant decide between Gengar or Alakazam. i also need a little assistance on yanmega. thanks.
     
    I would say Gengar because Alakazam has really lousy defence - one earthquake would kill it. But then again, seen as Gengar is a poison and ghost pokemon, that might be a problem too *-)

    alakzam is faster and holds the slight edge in terms of special sweeping though they're both good. gengar is a little less fragile and you can never complain about normal and fighting immunity, which makes gengar a lot easier to bring in and can drive your opponent nuts especially if it's holding a choice item.

    i already have electivire so maybey energy ball because i dont have grass types/moves on my team..

    also i need yanmega help

    lefties for hp gain w/ protect, wide lens for hypnosis. but gengar has hypnosis so im thinking hp ice for dragon leads.(this is my lead)
