Does Hitmonchan learn Thunderpunch natrually? Otherwise I'll have to find an Electabuz, which I've had no luck doing so far. :\

Hitmonchan can learn Thunderpunch naturally. So does Electabuzz, if you can find one.

This thread asks for MS. I deliver, and dont 'whine' at me for the set.

You may not like this set, but it works and I like it.

Calm mind on Azam is uh... kinda pointless in game. I've personally never had more than a 10 turn battle in game, since Level > all, so I don't give a **** about boosting (go go sweeper everything).

Now in competitive battling, there's a use for CM zam... against, maybe, teams without a special sponge. Now, rare as they are, they do exist, so go nuts with it and pray, because more often than not will you find a team that has at least 1 sponge that will completely dominate a CM zam.

Or you can just end up getting owned by a physical on a switchin, but of course you wouldn't be doing that either.

Also, as pointed out, TTar is godly OU'd in the metagame, so basing a moveset off the assumption that you'd prolly not run into at least one dark type isn't gonna work too well.

And finally, Tpunch is quite possibly the best way to go on a CM zam. Don't see the point of trick in game anyways, no one has like items >_>

That could have been said without the lecture. :\ And as OU as you claim Tyranitar to be, I sure haven't seen one used by anyone. :\ As for this special sponge thing, I haven't seen anyone use one of those either. You can argue that as much as you like, but the fact is no one in my area uses pokemon with that high of a special defense. A few use general tanks like Snorlax, but not many.

Anyway, I'm going for thunderpunch. Now that the yeling between me and hellish Hades has stopped, I'm willing to try his advice and drop Recover for something else. Maybe Fire punch or Ice punch.

Your area =/= metagame for me, and vice versa.

That's the main difference. If you're testing Movesets on NB, then don't always expect it to work on people in your area, and definately vice versa too.

Mana, your metagame is a global metagame, anyone with NB has the same Metagame as you, and vice versa. He only plays ingame, so his meta is like wack.

Special Sponges are godly. =)
