On September 29th, 2009, the music world may possibly change forever.
Paramore'd third new album, Brand New Eyes, which is a follow up to their extremely popular 2007 album, Riot!, is said to be one of the best alternative rock albums in the past 5 years. The band has already released one single from the upcoming album, Ignorance, which has had a very successful amount of critism.
Meanwhile, Alice In Chains releases their first new album in 14 years, one of the longest follow ups to a new album by a band since Guns N' Roses' Chinese Democracy. It is also the first album to feature vocalist William DuVall, who has taken the place of the late Layne Staley, who died of a Heroin overdose in 2002. Two singles have already been release, A Looking In View, which had reached number 12 on the charts, and the more popular Check My Brain, which climbed to Number 1 on the Mainstream Rock Charts.
Whose album do you think will do better? I personally think Paramore, do to their success over the past few years, even though Alice In Chains is my favorite band and really deserves it overall.
