Jewel smiled at the excitement. "Take it easy everyone. Yes, we will teach you how to use a styler, even IF you're not going to be a ranger. Yes, we are going to the Ranger Union. And yes, you can bring along your soon-to-be partners. They may as well learn the way, since I have no doubts that you'll all make excellent Rangers. As for the lesson……I thought it would be more realistic if you made your first captures in front of a few of my co-workers. Other Top Rangers, such as Sven, Wendy, Kate, Keith, Ice, Myself and we are supposed to be getting a new Top Ranger soon. Don't worry, we were all students once and we all made mistakes. Kate, Keith and I were in the same class. Of course, I was a few years older, but still just starting….." she said, when she heard something. "TARGET…….", a male voice said. Jewel pushed the students and their pokemon out of the way with the speed of a Ninjask, Ice following her. "CLEEEAAARRRR!!..." The voice said, followed by the doors busting open off their hinges.
"BARLOW!!!!!", Jewel yelled, kicking aside a piece of wood. The ranger turned. "Jewel!! So it IS true! You ARE a teacher!!", he said, hugging Jewel tightly. "Barlow….Can't….Breathe!!!" she gasped. The area ranger leader put her down. "Barlow, what in Mew's name was THAT for?!", she said, pointing to the now-destroyed doors. "I thought they were locked", Barlow said. "Well they weren't", she said dryly. Barlow looked at the students. "Well, well. These must be our future rangers! My name is Barlow. I'm the leader at the Ranger base in Veintown. I'm pleased to meet you!" he said. "Barlow's also famous for his Target Clears. You'll learn about those later." She said, picking up and moving the busted doors.
