OOC: Oops, mixed those two characters up. XD
I've just found the pok?mon for Cid. No more switching it! Honest! ^_^
IC:
Cid took a step back as the pok?ball rolled towards him, bursting open with a flash of light. As the flash died down, Cid noticed that on the floor stood nothing else than a very energetic Electrike, its fur an unusual light blue and yellow colour and it's black eyes lighting at the realization of its current position.
"Electrike!" (Freedom!) the electric pok?mon called out in excitement, dashing around the room at a fierce pace and knocking over various pieces of furniture before it finally collided with Cid's leg.
The Electrike looked up at the boy, it's little tail wagging back and forth at a rapid pace. "Trike?" (Master?) it asked, eyes glowing hopefully.
Cid chuckled at the sight, crouching down beside the electric pok?mon and and scratching it on a point behind the ear which made it squeal in delight. "Energetic, aren't you?" he asked with a soft smile, "Maybe I should call you...Tempest! What do you think of that?"
"Electrike!" (Tempest!) the Electrike repeated excitedly "Eleec-trii-keee!" (Tempest is great!) the electric pok?mon's tail wagged so hard that it was a miracle that it stayed on.
Cid scooped up the Electrike's pok?ball from the floor and placed it on his belt, turning to adress the pok?mon of his team. "Okay guys" he said "Tempest is on the team."
"El!" (Hi!) the Electrike called out, having no made its way over to Nightmare who had been eyeing the scene with a weary look "Eke-ctrike! Elee-elec-trike?" (I'm Tempest now! What's your name?)
For a while, the Mightyena simply ignored the Electrike in the vain hope that the annoying little creature would just go away, but seeing that that was not about to happen he gave in;
"Mightyena..." (Nightmare...) he grunted, promptly dismissing the electric pok?mon again. Why is Cid really taking it along? Nightmare wondered indignantly, Oh well...it's not like I'm in much of a position to question his judgement on such matters...
Cid turned to look at what Nicole had gotten. "An egg, huh?" he asked, looking curiously at the object "Why couldn't you provide a hatched one for her?"
