Well here is the avatar I have 'started' for altarialover! I've only done Typhlosion so far, and I'm starting on Cyndaquil.

Well about the question...I think that Cyndaquil's eyes are open!
But when it evolves its eyes 'look' like they're open.

Yeah, maybe you're right. There are a couple of pokemon like that I think, the only one that I can think of right now is Dunsparce.

There is Abra, Zubat, Gulpin, Wynut, Wobbufet...I think that's all of the Pokemon that have flat eyes. But Pokemon like Abra and Zubat, when they evolve, their evolution has their eyes open.
