Oh right same kind of thing happened to my brother he named his mightyena rocksmash...OMG!!

Anyway I watched pokemon winter vacations or somthing like that and it had ash's cyndaquil in it ^^ so I thought yay more pics/screenies!!

HAHA! altarialover- that WASNT deliberate--- i kinda meant i was thinking & manipulating your nickname..... ah well... i think i once named a quagsire "misplaced" cause i always thought it was a complete fish... *cackles*
 
I never gave my Pokemon a weird nickname, but my sister has. She says she was very bored so she gave every single Pokemon in her party a nickname on the Pokemon Gold Rom. I can't really remember what she called Cyndaquil but I think it was "Big Nose Guy". It was because we watched an episode where Cyndaquil gets picked up by Miltank's Friends because it got hurt and had a big lump on its nose xD

Wow thats funny~ My friend saw an episode where a skarmory came out, bandaged up and looking rather hurt. He loves skarmories and named his one "Getwellsoon" in its honour--- I dunno why.. -_-;;

Well... i think its quite fun jumbling them names up and making nicknames out of them...
 
I normally don't give nicknames to my Pokemon...I mean I just can't be bothered thinking of one for each Pokemon..I've actually never given nickames before..unless I want to trade on the GBC so I just make up random names ^^ I gave Cyndaquil the name AAAAAAAAAAAA!

I don't know I think altaria has clouds to cover up its wings to um replace feathers??
So I think it's counted as feathers ^^;

Anyawys there has been heaps of posting going on here while I was gone so like the nicknames thing ^^ well I guess it depends if I'm lazy I don't normally give altaria/typhlosion a nickname Xd ^^ I like it that way...but I guess different people like different thing -_-;

Well I think its just like how altarialover said it...they are feathers that cover that little stubby thing that is called wings and enables birds to fly...or it could be just an accessory ^^

That picture of Cyndaquil, makes it look like it has a flat face!

True~ I think cyndaquil lies too much... anyways* I reckon that fur IS like our hair or fur. I saw on a pokedex entry that apparently altaria foats by riding air currents, so maybe those tuffs of cloud support this type of transport...

I think that it has the clouds as it's wings and they are part of it's body. Though it could be like altarialover and MM99 said and they could just cover the wings. If they do though, the wings inside must be very small, and light.

It says in the pokedex that 'It's wings are like cotton clouds'
