Altaria Help

I'm trying to use Altaria in my team as my Special Wall for two reasons, one too many people carry Blissey counters, and two it is my favourite dragon/flying pokemon

The problem with it, is that Ice Beam is a special attack, and even with my EV spread probably won't last long, I was thinking of giving it Flamethrower over Haze but that doesn't protect it from Ice Beam much anyway

Roost helps, as with careful prediction only makes Ice Beam have a 2x advantage over me, rather than 4x. Natural Cure also makes this thing be able to absorb status

I was thinking that I might also have a Safeguard/Captivate but they are situational at best

Ice Attacks are still a x4 weakness. No matter how much defense you have.

don't use it for a special wall unless you give it Yache Berry. even with Yache Berry, it is doomed. i suggest you use it as a Hazer, or even better, give it Flamethrower for steel types like Skarmory.

it's a shame it doesn't have thunderwave. thunderwave + roost would save it from its horrible ice weak considering roost would allow it to lose its flying typing.
