Am I the only one who thinks Gyarados should be an Uber???

I mean come on! Any Pokemon that can sweep an entire team after one dragon dance! OU? Are you kidding me? I would rather go up against a Salamence over a dragon dace Gyarados any day! Maybe it's just me, but that's my opinion. And quite frankly, that's the only reason I have a Gyarados on my team...I wish the would just hurry up and make him an Uber so I can take him off! lol I don't even really like him...

What do you guys think?

Gyarados is easily dealt with because it doesn't have Salamence's Speed, nor its Dragon STAB. Good teams naturally have ways to deal with it, like Hidden Power Electric Suicune, or bulky Rotom-A, or Celebi, or Skarmory (SR hurts), or Scarf Flygon / Jirachi with ThunderPunch. It's not going to be up for Uber discussion any time soon, but feel free to battle with a 'no Gyarados' stipulation. You'll just have more trouble finding battles :/

Oh I have made a point to arm myself against Gyarados...trust me, it only took him sweeping my team once for me to become an expert on him. He is no longer a problem...however, I still think he is much better than some of the other "Ubers"...I just think it's silly to put someone of the others in the "Uber" category and leave out one of the most fearsome Pokemon in today's metagame!

Way too many checks and counters for it to be considered Uber, period. Vaporeon lol's at it since it can't even touch it with Waterfall, Skarm can take +1 hits and Whirlwind it out, bulky Rotom-A can tank the hits and hit it with STAB Electric attacks, scarfers can outspeed it and nail its glaring 4x weakness.

Haha...I love how everyone is hating on Gyaraydos, but I bet all of you would fall flat on your face if you went up against mine...If you are up for the challenge, we can see how easy he is to counter...Please...anyone who thinks they can hang, VM me! lol

I would have kept this topic up, but now it's becoming spam. Use the Wi-Fi section if you really want to battle. Unfortunately for your Gyarados, there are a handful of Pokemon waiting to lol in its face, like Jake said.
