Amona: The Trails and Tribulations

Not even the waters did there seem to be any life. No common water pokemon were to be seen. Were the people of Amona aware of what was going on in their waters and what were they planning to do with these bodies? Dewgong began to shiver when one body got in her way and almost lost control. How long until they reached land?
 
Lapras gave a small whine. The beach was close. She stopped, not being able to go any farther, for fear of being beached. Raichu jumped from the pokemon's head, to the sandy beach.

Lapras nuzzled Lana, letting her know they were there. Lana opens her eyes, then jumps off, landing in kneedeep water. She shudders, then walks onto the beach.
 
Dewgong slowly and cautiously waddled onto the shore. It seemed as if she was kissing the sand. When she lifted her head her mouth was covered with dirt. Danny chuckled and returned her to her pokeball. He placed his hands on his hips and looked out into the thick forest that stood before them.

"Do we have a map by any chance?"
 
Lana turns and recalls Lapras, frowning once at the "dead sea" then turns back to Danny, shaking her head. "Afraid not. We should find the first town."

Raichu scans the beach, looking for any life.
 
"Easier said than done," Danny scanned the shore, "Too bad we have do not have any of our flying pokemon."

He looked at the forest frowing, "We could use Chikorita to cut us a way through the thick forest."
 
She nods, pulling her pokeball off her belt. She throws it into the air. "Chikorita, it's time to take the spotlight!" The pokeball snaps open, and Chikorita appears. The grass pokemon runs to the forest, wanting to play again.

Raichu blinks, then runs after the grass pokemon, not wanting it to get lost.
 
Getting dark, they found a small cave big enough for the both of them. Danny went to collect some firewood, and on the way he spotted a small lagoon in the middle of the dense forest. He had to remember this place so they could come here to freshen up a bit. Back at the cave he started the fire, remembering the first time he kissed Lana.
 
Lana stands by the cave enterance, looking for her two pokemon. "Chikorita? Raichu? Where are you guys?" She looks around, looking for any sign that the pokemon were near.

'Cha!' Raichu returns, dragging a fighting Chikorita behind him. Chikorita tried to pull away, still wanting to play. 'Chiko!!'

Lana smiles, watching her two pokemon. "Come here you two. We need to rest up"
 
Danny fell asleep in the large cave dreaming of the bodies that they saw earlier today. He would never forget the horrific scene. He woke up in the middle of the night. Discovering he would not be able to go back to sleep he went out. Something was in the bushes. The noise of snapping twigs under feet were heard. He prepared his pokeball when a Nidorina popped out of the forest. It came up to Danny and began to nuzzle him.

Danny petted the Nidorina and picked her up. The Nidorina looked tired and hungry. So at the cave he put her near the fire and gave her some water. Hopefully this little one would grow to love him.
 
Lana stirred slightly, lying in the corner of the cave, her Raichu sleeping near her head. Chikorita was finally resting as well, lying a safe distance away from the fire.

Lana opened her eyes, glancing at Danny. "What's going on?"
 
Danny turned to face Lana and he smiled. He put his index over his mouth to show to keep quiet. He then pointed to his backpack where the pink pokemon was sleeping. Danny neared Lana and sat next to her. "Found her out in the forest. She was in the bad condition but I think she will be better now."
 
She glances over at the Nidorina and nods sleeply, leaning her head on Danny's shoulder. "I'm sure you'll take good care of her.." She slowly drifts back to sleep, tired from the day's events.
 
Dannny could not fall asleep anymore. But now her head was resting on her shoulder so he could not move. The fire needed somemore firewood but he could not move.

"I wonder what time it is...."
 
Raichu stood up, looking at Danny. It knew that Danny couldnt move anymore, and was more than willing to help with the fire. 'Kachu?'

Espeon looks up at them curiously, yawning.
 
The eletric mouse was willing to help. Danny smiled and nodded his head, "Please Raichu, will get the firewood for the fire?"
 
Raichu nodded. 'Cha!' It walked over to Chikorita and poked it, waking it up. After a short conversation with the grass pokemon, the two left to find some wood and bring it back.
 
Danny waited while the two pokemon to return. But he felt that something was going to happen....something terrible would happen to all of them. He tried not to pay attention to the feeling but it kept coming back to him. Hoepfully they would survive Amona.
 
Chikorita used its razor leaf to cut up a log, and then used its vine whip to pick up the wood. Raichu picked up a piece, and then the two started back to the cave. Once they arrived, then put some of the wood into the fire, and then made a pile of the rest.
 
The Nidorina stirred when the two pokemon ventured near the cave. She seemed to be getting uneasy so she went to Danny's side. He picked up the pokemon and plaved her on his legs. Her uneasy eyes darted to both Lana's pokemon. But then her eyelids closed and she went to sleep. In the horizon the sun began to rise.
 
Raichu watched the Nidorina, then curled up by the fire, hoping to catch somemore sleep before they ventured on.

Chikorita made a distance between itself and the fire, then curled up and watched the sunrise.
