The cloaked figure growled, disappearing into the shadows. She would deal with them later.....Meanwhile, one of her men threw a pokeball to the ground, and it popped open, revealing Gastly.

Lana stared at the pokeballs, then smirked. Things could turn around yet. "Espeon, Psybeam!"

'S'peon!' Espeon's red jewel started to glow, then a psybeam shot from it, blasting Gastly to the ground.

"Maybe we should get out of here," Danny recalled Dewgong, "Arbok poison sting!"

Arbok opened its mouth and thousands of needles flew towards the group of them rendering them helpless.

Lana nods. "Let's get out of here." She pulled two pokeballs off her belt and held them out. "Chikorita, Espeon, return!" The two pokemon returned to their pokeballs.

Raichu jumped over the pile of men, jumping onto Lana's shoulder. It pointed to a path that was covered in vines. 'Cha!'

Danny jumped onto Arbok. The snake hissed at the men that had taken a tumble. Nidorina was still in Danny arms looking at the cobra. Danny held out his hand towards Lana.

She took his hand, glancing back at the men once.

Raichu jumps off Lana's shoulder and jumps onto Arbok's head, and speaks to it, pointing to the path.

Arbok began to slither through the vines towards...the unkown. "Lana do you which way we should go?"

The forest became denser and the sunlight no longer reached them.

She shook her head, holding onto Danny, trying to see through the darkness. "No, I dont. But I think Raichu knows where to go...."

Raichu nods, pointing though the vines. 'Cha!'

Lana throws her pokeball towards the vines. "Chikorita, time to take the stage!" Chikorita pops out of it's ball, and the ball returns to Lana's hand. The grass pokemon shudders, looking around. "Chikorita, use razor leaf!"

'Chiko!' The leaf on the pokemon's head glowed, and then Chikorita made a swift motion with it's head, shooting the sharp leaves at the vines, snapping them.

Arbok kept slithering at a blinding speed through the vines with the aid of Chikorita. They came to a fork in the road. Arbok stopped and looked to the left and to the right paths.

"Which way Raichu?"

Raichu looked at each path carefully. After a few moments, it pointed to the left path. 'Raichu!'

Chikorita started down the path, cutting any vines in their way.

Traveling a few more miles Arbok grew tiresome. So Danny and the group jumped off the cobra to give it a rest. "You did a great job," Danny brought out the pokeball to recall it.

"What should we do know?" Danny sat on a rock, "I don't have another pokemon that is big enough to ride on..."

Lana sighed, leaning on a treetrunk. "I wish you had Arcanine...or I had Dragonite..." She sighed. She had made a poor call not bringing her flying pokemon. But she didnt expect this to happen.

"If only we could find some water to travel by, we could ride Lapras. But I guess for now we have to walk."

"Well maybe we should continue now before its gets darker and more lethal. And before those goons come back."

Presian then emerged from the pokeball from Danny's belt. It rubbed against his leg and strechted out. She smelled the air and purred. Danny stared at his pokemon thinking what it smelled.

Lana glanced at Persian, blinking. "Why did Persian come out of it's pokeball?"

Raichu walks over to Persian, blinking. 'Chaaa?'

Persian begins to like her paw. Then meows to Raichu and gesturing with some movements over a hill.

"Maybe we should go over that hill..."

Lana nods. "It's worth a shot. What have we to lose?" She gets up, heading towards the hill.

Chikorita follows, looking around carefully.

The hill was steeper than it looked... a lot steeper. By the time they reached the top of the hill the sun was setting and a fire could be seen. And also a little cottage could be seen not to far from it.

"We should go there..."

Lana nods. "Right...I wonder if anyone lives there.... I hope they'll help us out..."

Danny and the group slowly made their way down the steep hill. With the darkness slowly falling upon them Danny brought out Ampahros to light they way up and so did Raichu. They reached the cottage and saw a old lady sweeping her front porch.

Lana stepped toward the lady, folding her arms across her chest, the wind starting to get chilly. "Excuse me ma'am. Could you please tell us, where the nearest Pokemon Center is?"

The woman shakes her head. "You will not travel in this chill! You'll stay right here for the night."

Lana glances over at Danny, waiting for his consent.

Danny shivered looking at his surroundings. He thn looked at Lana and nodded his approval. Hopefully they would be safe with this generous woman.

"Yeah, we will stay here for the night," Danny walked behind Lana and whispered, "Ask her about those men."
