How do you get to the top? I went up the stairs, battled everyone, but then it seemed as though I couldn't get any further. Then I got in the lift, and there was a gate between me and Jasmine

just follow the stairs all the way out, you might be confused because there isnt a "Door" on the last floor, its more of a Wall of light you walk into, Its on the right side. Its funny that your name referances it.
