4th Gen an evolution on shaymin

    would u consider shaymins new form to be an evo or what would you concider it?
     
    Legendaries do not evolve. So this thread is just a waste.
     
    Technically, Shaymin is legendary because Nintendo says so. The real question is "Is Shaymin uber?" and no because it has a limited movepool. And it does not have an evo but another forme which is Grass/ Flying. I really don't see any reason why it would have an evo. Another forme is better so the other doesn't look weak.

    Shaymin's Base stats
    HP: 100
    Attack: 100
    Defense: 100
    Special Attack: 100
    Special Defense: 100
    Speed: 100

    AKA the same stats that Mew, Celebi, Jirachi, and Manaphy have, and I am pretty sure those are legendary. And Serebii has confirmed that it transforms, not evolves.
     
    shaymin is most certainly a legendary. legendary and uber are different things. I usually define legendary as a pokemon that there is only one of in a single game, it doesn't evolve, and it can't breed. just 'cus shaymin sucks doesn't mean he's not a legendary. and to answer the question, it's not an evolution. [according to serebii.net] there's an item u get in flaroma town or however u spell it then u use on shaymin to make him transform whenever u want.
