I'm trying to work out if raising a pokemon to max level on rare candies affects it's eventual HP in any way, but I'm going to need help. I've started off with a pair of zigzagoons, lvl2 males, same nature and almost identical base stats, but I'd like to get data for all the other most common pokemon from R/B/Y/G/S/C/Ru/Sa/FR/LG. This is where your help would be appreciated. This is where you come in. If you're interested, choose a common pokemon and raise a pair, one on Rare candies, one by the traditional method, then PM me the results? I'll be very grateful for your help.

i would but... training to Lv 100 is gonna be very hard...
i think rare candies do effect the HP actually, they certainly effect all of the other stats

All Rare Candies do is give the Pokemon it's upgraded stats without any EVs attached to them. So, you're best bet is to get a Zigzagoon with an IV of 0 or 31, so that you have a fair test or something. But... good luck anyways ^_^

acually I done this experment and a pokemon you raise by battleing is stronger.

A pokemon raised by rare candies doesn't get the extra stats (EVs) it normally would by battling wild pokemon. So yes, rare-candying does effect the HP: it decreases it.
