    I'm confused...when I tried to upload an animated avatar, it says:

    You may not upload animated images.

    Is there something wrong? Becuase I still see others with animated avatars...or is this just a new rule?

    It could be that the MB useage is to much, how many Kbs was the avytar?
    I tried getting one like that in the past and the Gif format had to much Kbs and screenshots being used at once ^^ Three frames do really nicely in a avytar.

    I think I know what's the problem. The "Can Upload Animated Avatar" option is set to "No" for members.

    To fix this, go to the Admin CP > Usergroups > Usergroup Manager, and choose which usergroup to edit. After arriving on the edit usergroup page, look for the "Picture Uploading Permissions" table, look for the "Can Upload Animated Avatar" option on it, and set it to "Yes".

    Hope I helped!

    Hmmm, maybe the image is too big, as in it has too many bytes in it? 'Cause I got that when I first tried to upload it, but I re-did it with a lower byte-age, and it worked fine.

    Sorry if ya couln't understand that... ^^;

    The image was 100*100...I think the byte size was correct....but why did it generally say all animation? :\

    That sounds like Andy's user title. XD

    The feature was there in vBulletin 3.5.0, Andy. XD

    I was just about to turn it on, shame this thread was here while I was at school. XD
    I started a thread about it back on the 28th of last month. If you knew about it how come I had to be the one that turned it on?
