I'm working on an Anime Version. Once I get 15 posts I'll make a thread, since I can't post any screenshots yet. So far I'm up to episode 15, Battle Aboard the St. Anne (so I've hacked Fire Red up to Vermilion City). So it might be some time before I get close to finishing it, but it's my current pet project. :nervous:

Anime hacks and Yellow remakes have just become popular. They have actually succeded the half-decade-long G/C/S-remaking craze. I'm working on such a hack too, but I don't feel like making it public before I have done a substancial progress.
But, there is a lot to learn about this new hacking style: Not to use bulbapedia's Jessie&James' sprites, not making garbage-quality sprites for Ash and co. and more importantly, focusing on bringing the gamer back cheerful old childhood memories from the elder episodes, rather than being obssessed in making the whole Pikachu-following-you-as-in-Yellow script, which in my opinion is pointless.
