Well anyway, your picture of Ash is awesome, even though some things are off. I'll discuss the faults and stumbles (yes, I'm using a thesaurus) when you post it.

yes, thank you FG, lets not spam it up in here, i wasnt here friday cuz lately ive had an increase in work making it harder to come here no tot mention my grandma's internet(long story on how and why i use my grandma's internet) seems to be SUCKING badly its so slow and disconnects often its almost unusable, and also like i said before ill be posting EVERYOTHER friday now, makes it easier on me so i can relax a little bit more, :)

well im glad you cant wait! there turuning out awesome so far ive done 2 gym leaders and 2 elite four members, 2 of em are remakes of older original characters ive done and ive love how they turned out, i really enjoy coming up with my own characters, there are so many possiblities which was hard cuz i had to narrow down my selection to 12 people since there are only 8 gym leaders and 4 elite four members, but ill keep making original characters after im done with my region cuz its so gosh darn fun

hmmm what DA account? :P yeah i dont know i dont visit there too often, yeah i did post my ash pic there didnt i? im posting it here tonight, and yes ive noticed problems on it since i drew it a month ago but i didnt feel like changing it, i guess its my laziness XD

Okay, I'm up and ready! And I heard from Clair that I fell asleep before I post it.
Ash is the one with the most problems but he was done so nicely and smoothly (that new style really works!). The white half Pokeball shape is stretched too big horizontal-wise. And Ash's body seems a bit too wide. Also, if knowing Ash's clothes, there should be more folds and wrinkles to indicate looseness.
Alana's toes were done pretty good, comparing with those weird toes you did about a year ago. She's basically good to go.
And remember, even the official animators of Pokemon make mistakes.
Okay now, I'll see you the Friday after next. And you'll be the first to see maybe my best Flannery cgi that's taking me days to just color....... and it seems the NYC area on the east coast is gonna get hit bad by a blizzard

hey everybody, im in a bad mood, someone on a certain forum said my drawings were unoriginal and copy thr style right from the anime so now im all bummed trying to figure out a way to make the drawings more my own, so im trying differnt lineart tell me which one looks better:

the lineart for the 2nd one isnt all the way complete, and i took off thier heads not to spoil what they look like, so tell me if the one on the right is good or the idea is good or what, and perhaps you guys can give me suggestions on how i can make the drawings more my own cuz im stumped cuz i still wanna make em look like the anime but with a personalized touch so yeah :(

I don't see why you should change your style just because someone thinks it looks unoriginal, but it's up to you...
I equally like both of them, but like I said, it's totally up to you.

Well, I'm quite fond of both styles, but... if I had to make a choice, then I would use the one on right for more originallity -- I'm not saying that what your earlier drawings weren't original, but you might get a better response.

well not really change the style but, enhance it, as for me i like both ways, thats the problem, i cant choose between em, but one thing im trying to do is put more detail in to the clothing so yeah, perhaps i wont change a thing and ignore him, but as it is the lineart is what im trying to figure out what i like

yeah i personally am actually starting to take a liking to the one on the right, but ill wait to see what other people say, i dont want to chanhe the lineart if the majority of the poeple like the original

u cut off her head :( anyway i would stick 2 ur original one it doesnt matter what the guy said.. just say 2 the guy u are the one who drew the actuall anime characters in the anime show..he might beleave u or might not the point is stick to u original drawings (the more it looks like the anime the better) :)

You should stick with the original style. That different textured lineart all over looks kinda..... weird. It's like that time I did this traceover on Photoshop (at school) with the pressure sensitive option on and I was like "wtf" at the results.
How about just adding darkness in the area where there would be zero light like behind the noses and at the top of the necks.
If anything, be more like Soara, with the extra highlights. Or even better
Experiment! Influence some of your works with Soara's style, and try the black in the dark areas! Variety is what makes art more interesting!
I learned that from art ^_^ I hope to teach you some more techniques on art... and I had a whole new idea on the background
Use patterns and kaleidascopes and it'd be better to fade them so they dont take attention away from the main drawing.
You're my favorite artist here on the site and that is why I help you out.
