    Here is where we can discuss anything in the anime about Pokemon Contests and coordinators.

    Personally I love Harley and his Ariados and his Banette with Frustration but most of all his Cacturne.

    I have to say I love May and her Wartortle. I kind of miss some of the one off coordinators.
     
    I actually miss May. Her contest experiences were better than Dawn and Jesse combined. Beautifly and Munchlax were awesome and the addition of Glaceon is a perfect one. Im hoping that when Misty makes her return that she will end up explaining to Ash and Brock that since she has so much time on her hands that she decided to become a coordinator.
     
    I don't know, I mean every girl main character as a coordinator would kind of weigh on me. I liked Misty because she could battle as well as anyone else.

    In contests. Her rival too in like a reunion episode for veteran coordinators and maybe we will see her Kanga Jumpy.
     
    Personally, I like Dawn's experience with contests a little bit more then May's. If you remember, May sort of just had a natural talent for contests. I mean she got to the last second to last round in her first contest and she never got booted out before the battle section of the contests. Dawn may have gotten to the battle section in her first contest but after that she didn't get in all of them. She lost for quite a while in the first round which is more believable. Besides, Dawn reacts like a ten year old should to losing. She gets depressed and stuff. May kind of just shook it off. Not to say that May didn't have attitude problems in her contests. I remember an episode where, even after her Pokemon was definitely knocked out, the judges claimed her to have lost but she yelled "I''m not done fighting!" in an incredibly annoying voice and pissed off the judges. I really wanted to kill her at that point because I hate that kind of attitude but that doesn't really matter. Opinion has been posted.
     
    Harley is just great as May's rival. He was just so fruity and flamboyant and funny. His pokemon really fit the whole 'scare' theme too.

    I like Jessalina too. She's actually becoming better at battling and winning. She might have a chance this saga at being in the GF.

    The problem with Team Rocket is they could be good battlers/coordinators/whatever. Whenever they fight someone other than Ash and Co, they usually win. But they spend so much time thieving and stuff that they're Pokemon can only battle at the lowest common denominator.

    TLDR: Jessie could becom a coordinator if she gave up TR, which she clearly doesn't want to. She likes a break every now and then, but doesn't want to abandon the team.

    I wish they would just separate and quit team rocket. She could reunite with Arbok and really smash in contests.
     
    I really would like to see more of Jessie doing well on contests. Really I do enjoy seeing Jessie and her coordinator style over Dawn's and May's. To me she just trusts her pokemon better compare to May and Dawn since she gets more involve in the first around. Jumping on top of Wobba and trusting that his Counter attack kinda shows off both her and Wobba. Also I think that contest are the only way we can see some equality for Team Rocket but that is just me. Teeheehee

    I really can't wait to see more of Yanmega in the contest scene. Teeheehee

    As in May and Dawn. I really have to say that I would like to see more of Dawn in the battle round. After rewatching some of May's battling I have to say that she got it REALLY easy. Just look at the battle with Jermy and his Venusaur back in Weekend Warrior. Jermy and his Venusaur had the upper hand but then out of nowhere May pulled the win. That wasn't really coolies.
     
    honselty I like seeing May so much more...I just grew attatched to seeing her contests appeals and battling skills...I mean learning to use a fire/water fusion was pure genious...it shows that taking something and making it ur own could be really neat...

    and Drew and Harley fit in with her very well...it would have been nice of the writers to allow us to see more of May's journies in the Johto with pokemon Chronicles or something...

    I was so annoyed at May at that time. Who are you, some professional? When Drew taught you all that stuff, you don't thank him, but instead, you just teach someone else like you actually DISCOVERED those tactics? Oh, dear...

    Anyway, I'd say I like Dawn better. Yes, May has better appeals, and she started off from zero and got better than Dawn, but Dawn did NOT act like May when she won. May was over-confident when she won 2 ribbons (see the Rubello Contest), but when Dawn won hers, she remained humble and did what a ten-year-old would act like when she experienced hardships. May just shook it off like nothing.
     
    Well I find the more confident coordinators more attractive because those are the ones who bring the best appeals to the table. The girl in the episode with that Mismagius for example extending the ribbons of its dress. That was great.
     
    SInce we are talking about coordinators, have you ever realized that in the Floroma Contest, when Dawn says something like, "Alright the Floroma Ribbon is all mine," if you listen closely you will notice that it sounded EXACTLY like MAY!!!

    dawn and may have the same voice actor don't they?
     
    No they dont have the same voice actors.
