And you forget, contests isn't about brute strength and levels. That's the key lesson Ash learned when he tried out contests in Jubilife, isn't it? Dawn won. And, though I didn't watch much of Hoenn, from what others are saying, it sounds like May did have it easy when she started out in Hoenn.
That makes me like her even better, she was good at contests meaning we saw more of them, like longer rounds and such and she did not have it easy she lost both GF she was in. According to you guys she was just some uber good coordinator, but she if that was the case she would have won, she is like Ash in a way, he wins alot but never wins in the league so in a way thats better because they do suceed but instead of harping over that relize this makes them more relevent. I find it more exciting watching a good co-ordinator winning than watching one who loses in the appeal round. I was not implying any thing about lvls or brute strength, I was trying to say she was a more experianced co-ordinator than Dawn contests are for beauty not strength so those are my reasons, and by you saying you did not watch them and saying she had it easy just by what you hear is a bad thing to go off of, and I do not like people stateing something based off what they hear, it most likely is a biased opinion, and tbh mine is too I do not like Dawn at all. She is useless because the whole new female lead contest thing should not have been repeated and I probally would like her better if there was something new added to it you know? Max was an excellent example of this he was a unique lead because he lacked pokemon and this made him more or less a student to Ash and he learned from the journey, which has more character depth than Dawn who is basically a repeat of May with different pokemon, but she is boring to watch because she does not win enough. May was also seen doing a lot more training with her pokemon then we have seen of Dawn. I would like to add I am NOT an advanceshipper, I am NOT a pearlshipper, nor am I a pokeshipper, I think Ash is gay just thought I would clear that up before i get falsely accused of being a shipper.....
