I guess this will where I will be posting my anime art. I actually tend to avoid this kind of style. But after completing a couple of drawings using anime, I realized how easy it is (and not to mention kind of fun!) So here I present my two most recent anime drawings:

    "My Fender and I" -

Description: It was early in the morning so this is what I came up with. This is actually my first attempt at drawing a decent guitar. I guess it looks okay. D: Its supposed to look like a Fender, so just tell me if I failed or not. xD My scanner also cut off some of the picture so that's why it looks weird. Fixed it and changed the contrast. I think it looks better.

    "Fickle Hearted" (Pokémon fanart)

Description: Oh look. Its been a looong while since I drew a character from the Pokémon anime I guess this was a good time to do one now. I call this one "Fickle Hearted" because that's what Brock mentions about women when Misty decided to not trade her Psyduck to any of the members of the Fuchsia Gym.

Yeah, that's it for now. I want to color these, but I don't exactly have the supplies right now to do so. =(

(Hopefully I didnt double post, my computer has been REALLY messed up on the net recently.)

I love the anatomy that you use! Its so well rounded and actually looks like an Anima/Manga picture should. I'd be careful with the accessories though, such as the guitar in the first picture..
Did you draw it free hand or have a picture to look off of?

The only real problem I have, is I'm not used to your style of drawing faces.

Thank you for the comment, love. I'm not sure what you mean when you say that you're not used to my style though ... could you kindly explain?

I love your pictures, and by looking at the Psyduck I can see you actually used guidelines and shapes to help you start, I do that too n_n. Anyway, as long as you keeo it up and keep practicing you can be sure to excel.

Thanks, my dear! Aha, yes ... I always use circles and lines to do my drawings. You can kind of see that on the first picture too, heh.

What lovely pictures you have there. What I love is how simple they are, like. not overly done. y'know? Excellent pieces =)

Good work Gunn, the anime Drawings are cool! I too usually avoided anime at a stage, but then I just had to try it out again, and I got Addicted! But the first one's Right shoulder and arm is a little disturbing and it's outlines are a bit dark. But good work, Gunn, Heaps better than what I could do!

I love how much these look like real Anime. The guitar is very nice and realistic, and I really like the Psyduck. I can't really find anything to criticise.

First of all, I'm glad you took the time to use direct linking rather than linking to deviantart. Second, I really like the first pic. It looks very anime-ish and the only thing flawed is the left arm.

The second picture is well done too. However, Misty's left eye is a little off from her right eye. But that is all I see.

Good job, and I hope this advice helps out some. : )

Thank you for the comment! Do you think you can explain what you mean by "disturbing?" It would be helpful if you were more specific. ;0

    Thanks to everyone else!

Aha, I have an update. I drew this one as soon as I woke up this morning:

    "Headphones"

Description: I like how this one turned out. His hand was supposed to be in his pocket, but the upper part of the arm is too short. ;-; Now he looks like he's doing some weird thing with his hand ... but other than that, I think it turned out okay.
