Anime Preview: Gad Guard Triple

Ok this is the show that replaced digimon. While it is from the same people it's very diffrent from the origenal gad guard. Gad guard triple is a new world and new every thing it only ran for 39 episodes but that was good enough.

Whats it about?
It is the year Dx99, human are able to "drive" robots called Gad by useing mind power (esp) a child is sent to the Academy at the age of 12 and learn how to use their mind to drive a Gad. One day a boy name Enzo Sujihama isx about to go to his first day of the Academey when he is attacked by the "Divine". The divine are a form of life matter that the humans are at war with they have the power to corrupet of enhance anything they kill. As Enzo is literally eaten by the Divine he sees a red light he reaches towards it and find himself on the street's again. He thinks of it as a dream and just brushes it off. Later that day at school enzo meets a 4th year student Kotama

and a 9th year student Mila

both of them are advanced enough to be able to drive the Gad's they drive X90 and XTriple. Kotama tells him that he should go home becuse he has no chance of driving a Gad ever. Later that day though the school is attacked by the Divine. Enzo gets lost from his class and starts looking for somewhere to hid. He finds a lone room with 32 diffrent gad he tries to hid in the room but is knocked into a Gad by a explosion. The Gad then Starts up and Enzo is sent flying. Outside Enzo suddenly knows how to drive his Gad and he sees that Mila is about to die from a attack so Enzo used Energy Knight a special attack that only 10th year student should know how to use. Enzo then pass out and episode one ends.

The story will end up having 5 main charaecters and Enzo will leave around episode 20 untill episode 35. These are the 5 main charecters while enzo iss gone.

Enzo also has a twin sister that he dosent know about.

The anime is longer then most animes with 39 episode it was only supposed to run for 20 but it got higer ratings then expected. Another anime based on GGT is planned for mid 2005. The show is a good replacement for digimon with the somewhat odd looking robots. Check it out if your ever in japan.
