Anime Recommendations

1. Steel Angel Kurumi: Very entertaining anime with well thought out characters who're given excellent development as the series progresses. Plus, the animation's outstanding and the battles will keep you at the edge of your seat.

2. Ranma 1/2: It's a very funny and amusing series. If you ask me, though, the manga's ten times better than the anime.

3. One Piece: The original version of this show is brilliant. It has an excellent storyline, great characters, outstanding humor and awesome fighting scenes. However, don't, and I repeat, don't watch the 4Kids dub. It's horrible.

More Anime:

Grave of Fireflies/hotaru no haka-Sad story, about a 2 kids living in a second world war time.

Ultra Maniac- Weird title, I know... It's magical series, but not like Magical Doremi...

Prince of tennis/tenisu no ohjisama-Revolves arpund tennis, has filler episodes, but still great.

Naruto-Great story, but recently,it's a fillers.

Garasu no Kamen/Glass mask- It's a old anime, now made into a newer version, it has old style shoujo drawing and truly is a classical piece.

Fullmetal Alchemist - This is such a good Anime. I am really glad I decided to check it out. Everyone should watch it.

Fullmetal Alchemist - Powerful plot, heartbreaking events, well developed characters, BEAUTIFUL ANIMATION (unlike so many other animes), and outstanding fight scenes. (unlike ::coughdbz:: which lasts FOREVER >> ) Interesting anime/manga, and it actually makes people question life. I've seen all 51 episodes (not all episodes were THAT interesting tho..) and I am forever fascinated by Fullmetal Alchemist. It has hidden morals in it, and one can learn -a lot- from it.

Not to mention that Fullmetal Alchemist is THE ONLY anime/manga I like. >>

definately fullmetal alchemist.

so far fma has been the most interesting anime i've seen. like akinari said, after one episode you'll be hooked. i know, cuz that happened to me. anyway, it's really great and my favorite show of all time. i have tivo and on weekends i watch all the recorded episodes (which vary from 9-5) over and over. and over.

....................

i'm not weird!

Well I was about to suggest some of those other animes they have metion but it seem they discuss them enouth. I just brife metion some they metion.

Fullmetal Alchemist:Very good. I hate when I miss an episode.

One Piece: I only have seen the 4Kids dub and angry at how much they do dub but I still love the dub version. It the only verison I have seen. I don't care what others say about it being a horrible dub. It still good. If you want an anime that gurantees a good laught then I suggest this one. Don't listen to the others that say it a bad dub because it still good. Anyways is too expensive to by the undubs.

Naruto: A one I just got into. Its ok. I find it simlar to DBZ when it comes to fight. Long talks and short fight. Fight scenes are good thought.

Samurai Champloo: Funny and makes me think.

Inuyasha : Great action scenes. Great love story.

Zatch Bell: Freakly but good. The charzcters can be scary but you learn to love them.

One that no have metion...

Mew Mew Power/ Tokyo Mew Mew: I just got into this little one and I have been in love with it. It kind of like Sailor Moon. These girls are injected with these animal DNA and saves the world from this evil anain thing. It also a good love story. I say if you like Sailor Moon then you will like this.

mm, yes, but if you're going to watch tokyo mew mew/mew mew power, i suggest not reading the manga first. i read the manga first and ended up not liking the show. however, i watched the sailor moon tv show first, then read the manga and i still like the show. so, yeah.

How could I forget about Fruits Basket?:embarrass Sorry about that.

No one else recommended what I'm about to say, so I will. Unlike you all, I go further back, a lot further.

Gatchaman: Once you get past the bird superhero motif and the odd mechas, it's a quite mature show. Full of death, this series holds no punches as you see the brutality of the superhero game, status quo changes (one of the most popular characters dies), the full range as you feel for everyone especially the villains but you can't fault the heroes for doing their job, but even they don't like the job at times.

It's a 70's show so you need to skip the cheese to appreciate it but you do see the heart the creators poured into it as such content: violence mostly (and panty shots, winks) will impress you.

But it's not perfect as the second arc had horrible animation problems and the third arc is pure miserable angst. But despite that, it's one of the animes that formed the animes you watch today and forever timeless.

You people forgot Furuba (Fruits Basket)! Shame!! >O It's shoujo, but there are more then enough male fans that'll tell you it doesn't matter, emotional almost, "coming of age" story, quirky twist and curses, plenty of comedic moments and fight scenes, along with lovely and endearing characters that turn into cute lil? animals, a must~!

I?d recommend Angel Sanctuary if your not afraid of a pretty taboo and religious themed plot. Angels, demons, heaven, hell, a good amount of gore in fights, but centered around a forbidden love. Beautiful artwork, but centered around a mature topic and dark, definitely PG-13.

Witch Hunter Robin is also enjoyable in my book, basically it?s Charmed meets the X-files. XD; A story of a young ?craft user? sent to Japan to work at the STNJ, an organization that captures witches who become out of control and harm humans. Awesome opening and ending songs, Shell and Half Pain, big reveals towards the end of the series as well, but again, kinda dark.

And if you wan't something completely light hearted, Di Gi Charat is a fun series about cat catgirls working at a comic book store, and basically... completely random crap happens, very funny and super cute artwork. Very refreshing. ;3

Aright.. Lets have my list of reccomendations then.

Get Backers: Hilarious and has an awesome story. If you're into gangs and gangsters and and evil dark tower in the middle of 20th century Tokyo, this anime is for you. Along with that, the Get Backers Retrieval Agency is too hilarious on its own to mention all the other cool parts of the story. =D PG13..

Gene Shaft: Sci-fi. The story is pretty well thought up and makes sense (unlike a lot of animes), and quite dramatic and violent. NOT for people who hate blood. MUST SEE for people who like highly endowed female characters. >_< PG13..

Detective School Q (called Detective School Kyu by some): Very interesting if you're into action and crime. Hilarious, but gets scary sometimes. PG13..

Galaxy Angels A/Z: Whatever you want in an awesomely funny sci-fi anime. More of a spoof than a proper sci-fi, the girls in the Angel Brigade will drive you nuts. Either with their looks, or their antics. =D Lesse... no PG13 here.
