4th Gen *annoyed* Shiny Starly

i would say the shiny starly =better. but mesprit CAN be shiny too, ya know.

Yes, I know a shiny starly isn't the greatest thing int he world.. But as I was chasing after Mesprit, I found the grass it was in and started searching,

I surprising found a shiny starly. I through a poke ball, caught it instantly, and then went on to catch mesprit. I failed to catch it and accidently killed it.

Then I thought 'Yes! a shiny!' and then it hit me. I wouldn't have another chance to catch Mesprit.. So I was forced to choose.. Shiny starly or Mesprit.

In the end, I chose to turn it off and on and attempt Mesprit again. But now I feel so foolish for not saving after I caught the shiny! :(

Oh well, life goes on.

your call on that, man... but let that be a strong lesson that you need to get into the habit of saving.

To be honest, it probably isn't really that hard to find a Shiny Starly on here either, someone is likely to have one. In fact, I do, so if you want, just give me a PM ;D

HAH. Woulda kept the Starly. Mesprit, legendary, yet easy to get from GTS or a friend who doesnt need it.

Keep the Starly and look for a Mespirit on WTC.

You live you learn. I remember I saved as quickly as humanly possible when I caught my first shiny (Pidgey) from chaining.

As for the time I caught Mesprit, I traded the sod about 20 minutes later for something I can't even remember now.

Yeah my best pokemon is my shiny Porygon-Z he looks flippin awesome as a shiny

I would of kept the shiny Starly and looked for a Mespirit [like I did] on the GTS
