    I'm new here, obviously! I used to watch Pokemon a lot in the 90's, and a few weeks ago for old times sake I decided to watch the very first episode ever on YouTube. Well I fell in love with the show again. Seeing as I'm 17 (and a girl), a lot of my friends think that's just plain weird, so I decided to look for a forum of other fans and found this place. :D

    I'm probably a little behind everyone else (okay, a lot) because I used to watch in the 90's and I maybe got up to the Orange Islands, but I don't remember a lot of it. So really, right now I'm on episode 49, of season 1. xD I hope to catch up even though I know it'll take a while. I'm dreading the character changes and the voice changes, but hey, it goes with a show that's been on TV for as long as this one has.

    I haven't played a lot of the GameBoy games because I was never lucky enough as a kid to have a GameBoy, but when I got older I got a GBA and Ruby version. I beat that, and now I'm playing FireRed. I feel like such a little kid again. :P

    Anyways, I hope I'm not the only one with a love of Team Rocket. James is by far my favourite character, I just love him. xD All three of them are hilarious though. Are there any other Jessie/James shippers out there, and is there a more official name for it?

    I think it's just called Rocketshipping, but I'm not 100% on that. :x

    Watching all those old episodes is just great, isn't it? The nostalgia factor just keeps me coming back to 'em. Don't really see what being a girl has to do with liking Pokémon, but yeah, there usually aren't too many fans of the franchise around our age group in most places.

    Any who, don't worry about catching yourself up on the anime too much. I think I stopped watching it around the beginning of Hoenn, and never really looked back. It's not like we're gonna shun you if you aren't a walking encyclopedia of Pocket Monster knowledge. XD

    Lol, as a girl who's into pokemon as well, I know how you feel! I joined here to make some "understanding friends", and to get/give help with PMD2: Explorers of Darkness. I don't have WiFi, so this will work. ^^
     
    Well that's good to hear that your playing the pokemon games again well anyway welcome to PC.
