I'm curious as to how people can make level 100+ pokemon workable in alot of these Rom hacks.
I figured an item that would stop XP gains dead(to prevent the accidental reset of the level to 1) would work from a certain perspective and then have your own approximation calculation based on xp gain and xp to level chart formed on the previous growth trendline of leveling up.
Thus having it done by a 3rd party and when you reach the amount neccessary to level up just using a rare candy.
This would work with almost no inference on learning coding.
I know this would require alot of moving the coding around and actually understanding the structure of the game around.
Esp if people wanted to go above 255/256 into the hundreds.
