4th Gen Any other adult players on here?

I guess I'd classify as an adult and I'm new to PC. Intend to be quite active here. Not too keen on actually saying my specific age but let's just say that I'm old enough to be the majority of the members father.

Just picked up Pokemon Soul Silver, have not played a pokemon game since Gold and Silver came out originally. So I'll be asking a lot of dumb questions.
 
I just turned 22 and I've been playing the games since Red, Blue and Yellow, and I've been watching the show since it came out, and I don't care who says it's immature, I don't care, I will love it until the day I die ^_^
 
I'm twenty.
Been a fan of Pokemon since it was first released and still love the games (don't really watch the show anymore but it's still enjoyable from episodes I have seen.)
Plenty of adult gamers in the world, so I am sure plenty of them have a soft spot for the Pkmn games!
 
Yeah, I'm 28, got into Pokemon when I was 18 and I've never really been able to put it aside. The games really draw you in and the Pokemon characters really grow on you in ways that make it really hard to forget about them.

Still debating whether to pick up Soul Silver. I did really enjoy those Mystery Dungeon games though.

I'm 18, so here in England I'm legally classed as an adult (maturity-wise though, I'm not too sure... :pink_giggle: ) Been playing since first generation and have no plans of stopping anytime soon!
Absolutely in love with SoulSilver and HeartGold at the moment, as I remember playing the originals when they first came out (as well as Crystal), so the remakes have had some awesome nostalgia. The only time I've ever come close to stopping playing was with the releases of Ruby/Sapphire (which I've never completed) as I really wasn't too fond of the new Pokemon, though I like them a lot more now that Diamond/Pearl have been released. Guess I'm just a bit old-school, heh. :pink_wink:
 
I'm not an adult as I'm only 17, but my mum who is like 35 still plays pokémon when she gets the chance. She's been into it since it came out, and in fact got me into it when I was 6. So no-one should worry about it.

I plan to play pokémon forever... I also planned to go to the grave with my pokémon collection, and hopefully have a Pokémon themed funeral :P

Don't feel so bad about it. I had the same experience with my mom when I was 12 and she yelled at me to grow up after which I spent a year and a half not playing the games. When I got back into it and she asked why I said that it was something that I enjoyed doing and that the perception of something being "Childish" is a point of view judgement influenced by ignorance of what the games were. Since then, she's been very supportive of me (even going so far to buy me FireRed for christmas one year).

I'm turning 21 in a couple of months and I dont think Ive been as hard-core of a trainer since the original GSC games. Something you learn in college is that people really dont care and those who do really dont matter at all.
 
I'm turning 20 this year! Like most people here, I've been into Pokemon since it was introduced.

I stopped watching the anime after the G/S/C thing when Misty left and May was introduced, but I still love the games. I used to make my little sister go out and buy them for me, because I was too embarrassed to get them myself, but now that's she's older she's refusing to do it. She's outgrown Pokemon, but I still love it. :P
 
26 myself. can't say i don't enjoy the new stuff compared to the original red.
 
I'm 21 and I've been playing the games since I was 12 :) I had a huuuge gap after Crystal during my teens because I didn't bother with a GBA. I probably didn't think it was 'cool' or something *eyeroll* Two years ago I bought a DS just so I could play Diamond and haven't look back :D
 
Well im 45 and 46 on october 29th, and I play pokemon day in day out, I love it... I've had it since the First Generation and I'll have it to the last, played over 700 hours on diamond and justt above 200 on HG. Im a diehard pokemon fan and will be forever
 
24 here. Played Blue endlessly when I was younger then picked up Pearl two years ago. Pokemon is still as good as it was for me 10+ years ago (if not more with the rise of Wi-Fi)
 
22 and still playing. Got Blue version when I was 13 and was hooked ever since. Old favorites never die!

I'll be turning 20 in November and I'm not even ashamed to admit my liking the games and anime to my friends who are somewhat slightly older too.

They take the piss out of me, yes. But they say they respect me for admitting that I'm into it and respect me for standing up for what I like so they don't hassle me much anymore.

Been playing since R/B, will be playing til the end!
 
I'm 22 n I been playin since the beginning just got the SS version a few weeks ago n luvin it Its hard 2 believe there r other adult players lol
