I mean I've gotten it down to where it was like so low in the red you couldn't even see it and the battle went on so long and the ball only rolled twice every once in a while and it got to the point where it just had to use struggle and it killed itself so I had shut off the game. :| I am having a lot of trouble, so anyone have any tips on the best way to catch this, other than a master ball which I don't have...Yeah, like which balls are the best? I was using ultra balls...:|

dude ......ill give u a master ball

use dark balls much easier than ultra balls

Get a Pokémon with False Swipe, get it down to 1HP, put it to sleep/paralyse it, then just start lobbing Ultra Balls until it settles. That's what I did. Same thing I did on every legendary, and a lot of regular Pokémon too.

lmao or he could just use the masterball i just gave him cuz im nice like that

Master balls are way easier to catch pokemon especially legendary. I agree with everyone who say what I just said. So catching legendaries are easy with the master ball.

Catching anything is mostly luck, etc, etc, if anything you have no luck soft reset and try again, I had to do this multiple times when getting Azelf.

I would say, Bring alot of Dusk Balls. Since Heatran is in a Cave, Dusk Balls works the best. And get it's HP in red. And maybe even, Use a Status Condition to it.

I just use pokeballs except for the Uxie and Azlef where i use Dusk Balls. I would take its life down to lowest possible red then have a haunter or gengar handy to put it to sleep then once its asleep start throwing whatever pokeball you want to use. If it wakes up put it back to sleep.

For this tactic id stockpile a lot of balls and have a ether handy to replenish hypnosis so you can keep the fight going without Heatran running out of PP :D

I got tired of throwing Ultra balls and other ttype of non 100% accuracy balls at it so I just used a Masterball because I got tired of it. I was happy I had alot of Masterballs in my 3rd generation games
