Anyone else deal with the "only original pokes are good" people?

I don't really understand this because the words best and worse are little vague. In terms of idea and creativity, I would have to say that the older generations are better. I think I already said the same thing about the appearance of the newer generations in the least favorite pokemon thread. they are too goofy and random. At least the original had pokemon resembling animals or other believable characters, but now you get things with weird designs and whacky color schemes. Examples would be random shapes like daimonds and triagnles on the face. Wth is up with that?
 
Well,it is kinda hard since I grew up with gen I and gen II, everyone was happy when they got a pokemon to level 50! Now its nothing. I used to hate all genarations (even II) because I thought nintendo disrespected the old pokemon by replacing stronger new ones. But now I try to go with the flow and beginning to like the "new" generations. Now I hate the people who do that because they probably didn't even play the new games, they just checked sites like serebii or pokedream and checked the pokedex and said "Lol look at those new pokemon, they SUCK!!!!!" These people just have something messed up in there mind

Generation 3 actually was were a lot of my favorite pokemon were introduced so I disgree with the statement that Gen1 is the only good one. XD
