What about Snorlax?
Face it, Pokemon just need Team Rocket and their funny antics. They just can't live without them. :)
As for Ash, Ash is the protagonist and he shall continue being 1 unless he grows old.(like he will)
As for Pikachu, Pikachu's the mascot!!!
