Anyone else live in the middle of nowhere?

    Its been hard to catch pokemon, I live about 40mins away from the nearest major city, and I have yet to find any pokemon out here. I can really only accomplish anything when Im in the city lol.

    Anyone else dealing with this? What do you do to try to catch pokemon? Its such a bummer
     
    I visited someone out in the country earlier this week and noticed there were literally no Pokemon out there, so I'm not too surprised to hear this but I live in the city, myself.

    Do you have ANY Pokestops or Gyms nearby? If so, I would try putting down a Lure on one of those. Also, does using incense have any effect?

    I imagine you may just have to play when you go in to more urban areas, though.
     
    I live pretty out there away from a big city and I have been playing the game for 5 days now. At first it didn't seem to be a problem because every Pokemon that did pop up I grabbed. Now that I am on my 5th days the pickings are very sporadic and slim and always seem to be the same Pokemon popping up.
     
    I live in a similar area and the best way I've found is just to spam incense, but unless you're happy to pay real money it's not a very reliable solution! I'm moving to a more developed area soon so I'm happy to make any progress I can before then, but if you have no plans on living in a more developed area soon then you may just have to make do with the slim pickings you have there. It could also be worth reporting it as a bug/issue to the Go team - I'm sure they wouldn't want certain areas to just be completely void of Pokémon to play with.
     
    I do and it makes the game nearly unplayable at my house. I'm able to get a much stronger GPS signal in town or when I am at work so that is when I focus on catching my mons.
