Anyone else Quit Games? But still love the Show/Card collecting?

Hey guys,

Im new here...
I use to be a big pokemon fan when i was younger,
I would play all the games watch the show and collect and trade pokemon tcg cards was fun...
Anyways i wanted to get back into it
I tried playing these new modern pokemon switch games but they were huge let downs and just wasnt the same anymore, i tried all the switch ones...
I thought it was over at first but then i bought couple booster packs and im totally in love the with TCG cards again!
Lots nostalgia i even started watching pokemon anime show again and enjoying it!

But yea long story short are there anyone like me who dont like the modern pokemon games but still love the show / card collecting?

Hmm im buying more boosters i think today its addictive ha

As for me, I am still playing the games, but never got around to playing the trading card game though. I would be interested, but I think TCGs in general are too expensive of a hobby. It doesn't really cost much to buy the games and play them for as long as I want.
