    I'm only on the second island and I've been wondering how long this game is compared to other Pokemon games. So if you've beaten it already and got to the battle tree then how long is the game compared to the others?
     
    Not entirely answering the question as I haven't gotten to the Battle Tree yet, but I've already beaten the game.
    I completed the main game in ~26 hours, but I explored a bit and battled every trainer. If you're just doing the bare minimum, you could finish it in around 16-17 hours maybe, which is a bit longer than previous generations. Probably because its more plot heavy.
    After the main game, it should only take you 1-2 hours to get through the postgame routes to get there.
     
    I am almost there, but you need to do a really difficult battle (at least for me) right before gaining access. I have about 50 hours in the game, and my pokemon in my team are all at least level 55
