Anyone gotten mew yet?

I'm trying the Ranch way, but the ****** up part is I don't have Diamond or Pearl! However, I've got an elaborate plan for getting the mew. I pawn alot of my old Wii/PS2/GC/DS/GBA games and use the money to get Diamond. The plus side is two things - I have two DSes, so I can trade Diamond exclusives and evolutions to Pearl, and I can use the Diamond as a gateway to putting Pokemon in Ranch. I can't go to gamestop until Saturday/Sunday, so I'm stuck messing with the Wii's Calendar. When the time comes, I'll just put in space-consuming worthless Pokemon (i.e. Bidoof) and go out on a Starly/Bidoof/Shinx/Geodude catching spree.
 
Is there anyway to get Mew without an event or pokemon ranch??
 
Other than a glitch in Generation 1, nope, I don't think so.
 
awwww...coz i can't search it on gts coz i haven't seen it!!

and everyone who offers any decent poke like Ttar or Manaphy wants a Mew in return
 
Mew is the ultimate HM Slave...but if anyone had it would they use it as an HM Slave? I mean honestly? If you recieved a Mew would you just give it Fly, Surf, Strength and whatever else or would you give it the good stuff?

I dont have fly and surf slaves, because there good moves. Rock climb and stuff are taught to my bibarell XD
 
Dont you have a Marill that knows Surf, Waterfall, Rock Smash and Strength?
 
I stole the Mew my brother worked so hard to get. I had Platinum and I stole it from his Pearl. Aren't I a good brother. :)

Some people can't get the legit ones, so their only resort is to cheat, not everyone has time on their hands or the money to get the event Pokemon, besides it really makes no big deal anyways

I might get ranch but im not gonna cheat to get mine i guess ill wait for an event because i will probably got to like 900 pokemon then a mew even goes on *face palm*

Yes, it is a big deal. Cheating to fill your 'Dex or to catch a Pokemon is not an accomplishment, while we others work hard and legitimately to do the same. If it's not a "big deal" anyways, than you people shouldn't cheat.

Yes, it is a big deal. Cheating to fill your 'Dex or to catch a Pokemon is not an accomplishment, while we others work hard and legitimately to do the same. If it's not a "big deal" anyways, than you people shouldn't cheat.

Agreed, however I might seem a bit hypocritical seeing that I do have a non-legit Mew. I mainly wanted it for lulz because it can Fly, and as for my Red version, I just wanted to see if I could pull off the cheat. I would never use it against people, though.

Guess that answers my question, though. But as for you Ranch people, good going/good luck with getting Mew! I'm probably going to get a Wii for Christmas and try my hand at finally getting a legit Mew from Ranch. Yeeee haw.

Well, since I don't have Wii, and will never will, I don't think I stand a chance to get a legit Mew.

I do have a Mew in my Pokemon Blue (mobile version).
