Anyone know when DS will be released in hong kong?

    heard it is going to be released in american later this year.
    anyone know the price of it when it comes out in hong kong dollars or canadian or us hong kong $ prefered :Pthxs if you know!

    Note: if you don't know what a Ds is it is the new series in the gameboy series called DS.
     
    I've heard that it should be in late 05. I'm pretty sure this is the wrong area

    Nobody knows the price or the exact release date yet.

    The DS was originally the concept for the next gameboy, but because the gameplay is different, and there are other features that are totally foriegn to the gameboy, it's not considered the next gameboy.

    You can expect for another 'gameboy' to be released with the original gameboy-type gameplay a while after the DS is released. Based on the DS's sucess, Nintendo may or may not make new systems with strange(in my opinion) gameplay types.

    yeah probably late 05 like blue said you cant never be so certain with this stuff though. Maybe you should email nintendo of asia or w/e they call it there (nintendo of hongkong?)

    The next GB at the moment has the title Gameboy Evolution. That's supposed to come out next summer in Japan. So we might see a preview of it at spaceworld.

    DS is like.... hmm, lemme think of a good way to put this...

    It's like Nintendo's experiment for a handheld with new types of gaming(newer, not neccasarily better). I mean, it's not everyday, that you come across a handheld gaming system that has two screens, and one of which, is a touch screen. It's like their 3rd type of gaming, and based on the DS, they may or may not make anymore systems similar to this.

    To answer your question, yes, a DS will be able to play FireRed and LeafGreen.
     
    No, The DS will be released sometime in November. It will be $199.99. There is a official date, but this is just off what I remember. -Soruce, EBgames.
     
    oh so thats what ds is i was wondering the thing about 2 screens kinda shocks me so it costs 200 us? or canadian?
