Anyone playing stadium 2, what is your strategy?

I have played through it a good while ago, but im back now building a team to wreck R2.

I found an absolute cheesy strat that involves Zapdos and electrode, with eletrode outspeeding everything which guarantees rain dance being set up, then blow up, Zapdos comes in with 100% accurate thunders, a boosted hidden power water for rock/grounds, drill peck, and rest+mint berry, its pretty much unstoppable.

What kind of "unbeatable" team did you guys create for R2?

My strategy is honestly just to wing it. Sometimes I random my team with a pokemon randomizer to make it a bit more challenging, but other than that I don't do much. ;-;

pray lol. pray you get the luck of the draw, if you're stuck with the rental pokemon. i was training up a bunch of pokemon on my GB games to use in stadium, but i lost focus and didn't finish them and some of those files got erased and then like. my cart reader for the N64 controller is weird with them and won't read the thing half the time anyway so i have just accepted the fact that i'm doomed.
