    I want to start a new journey on my Alpha Sapphire but I want to do a battle challenge with a new friend to spice up this new adventure. So, if anyone wants to join me on a new journey let me know! :D <3

    Am I crazy for not knowing what a 'battle challenge' is? {XD}

    Depending on what it is, I may join in!
     
    I mean like a VS playthrough. We battle each other throughout the game as if we're rivals like after each gym or random challenge[3 challenge requests total]. Are you game for the challenge. ;]

    To make it worthwhile the winner gets to choose the Pokemon of their choice from the losers final team.

    I may be interested in this. Just got a ds and alpha sapphire myself today and haven't started yet, however feel like we should hammer out a few rules before hand to keep the playing field level lol

    Just like no bred Pokemon for your game team and when we battle of specifically eve trained ones. Keep it level just like by using only Pokemon we catch in game you know?
     
    Wonder trading would be a no-no too. I ruined one of my save files because I got traded a level 57 Gengar early on. By ruined I mean that it became way too easy and not fun at all.
     
    Yeah true. I'd say as far as trading if you want someone on your team that's not in your version or you don't get til later you can only have an egg for them traded to you so stats and nature are random Still and there's no exp bonus
     
    This is a really cool idea! I was thinking of restarting ORAS actually. If I do I might join you guys. What would be the logistics of this - pairing up?

    I wanted to something like this but with more of a tournament feel when the games were released but never posted the idea. This is awesome. I can't Skype at the moment but if you get details and rules hammered out, you should post a sign up sheet others!
     
    lol No one followed up for so long that I have almost gave up but hten saw the idea of making this a tourny.
    I love this idea anyone want to help build a Rule Set and figure out potential rewards for
    the tourny?
     
    I'm not sure if we need prizes/rewards - playing is fun enough for me :)

    As for the way it would work, how about a simple playthrough with battles after certain milestones in the game?
    There would be no access to anything outside of the playthrough e.g. Wondertrade, IV bred pokemon, GTs to keep things as fair as possible.

    Ok would anyone *actually* be interested in doing this? I'm pretty much ready to restart Alpha Sapphire... would be pretty cool to play along with some other people! I'll wait a few days and see if this picks up again :) I don't have skype so we'd have to discuss everything in this thread.

    As I had mentioned in the other thread, I just ordered a 3DS and Omega Ruby, which will be arriving by the end of this month, and I have never played the game before or any generation 6 game for that matter so it's all brand new to me, but I think it will be way more fun playing with other people that already know the game and might be able to help me out. If you guys are up for it then I am as well, as long as you guys don't mind waiting possibly another week or two. I'll make a post when I finally get my 3DS and game if you guys are interested. :)

    I'm down! I'll wait for you, no worries. I'm doing some breeding and EVing right now anyway so that will give me some time to finish that all up. A bunch of other threads with the same topic popped up just recently too, so we should try and get this all organized into one, just for the sake of keeping it simple. Anyway I really hope we can get this ball rolling, would be pretty fun.
