It is English. It was just on my Japanese game when I evolved it. Since it wasn't nicknamed, the name changed to the Japanese name.

I really like that Emolga of yours :) Unfortunetly I need to hack check my pokes to see if they are legit. I am trying to do IV breeding with my Flawless Japanese Ditto :) The best I've gotten is like a Totodile with 31/31/25/20/31/30 or something like that.
